We had a lovely experience at a budget-friendly hotel close to Thamel. the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel like more than just typical guests. the breakfast in the garden was one of the highlights of our stay. the location was great, allowing us to easily explore the markets and book transfers and tours. the facilities were well-maintained and there was always hot water. Elbrus Home provided us with a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.

I stayed at Elbrus Home for 6 nights and it was a peaceful and clean base, just a 5-minute walk from the central Thamel madness. The staff, especially Khem, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The beds and bedding were extra super comfy, the best out of the 10 hotels I stayed in over the country. I loved the unlimited mineral water and the breakfast was huge and healthy. The second building opposite the main one provided a nice and peaceful atmosphere, with night security and a great powerful shower.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The manager, Khem, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From organizing airport transfers to helping us with our trekking plans, his assistance was invaluable. The guesthouse is centrally located, offering great views of the city. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony or rooftop garden in the evenings. The complimentary breakfast in the garden was the best we had during our trip. We highly recommend Elbrus Home for an affordable and enjoyable stay in Kathmandu.

The host was extremely welcoming and attentive to his guests. He truly cared about our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. the location of the hostel was perfect - right next to the bustling Thamel area, yet in a quieter and more peaceful neighborhood. I loved spending time in the beautiful garden, as well as on the different balconies and the rooftop terrace with stunning mountain views.

There were a few minor drawbacks. the room was a bit cold, and the hot water in the shower was sometimes unreliable.
